In Transition...

outsidechurch.JPGFindlay Street Christian Church has sold it’s old building on Findlay Street.

In the interim, we are worshipping at Mt. Baker Park Presybterian Church.

We meet at 1:30 PM on Sunday afternoons.  You are most welcome to visit and be part of our grand adventure, creating sacred space for the 21st century.

From Rainier Ave. South turn east on McClellan at the intersection with Lowe's.  Pass through light at MLK Way and proceed through a series of four-way stops at 31st, 34th and South Mt. Baker Blvd. At South Mt. Baker Blvd., you will see a park on your left, and the road turns to the right (the street name changes here).  Go forward through this four-way stop, continue up the hill and to the right, where the street becomes Hunter Blvd. (a parkway divides the street in the middle).  The church appears on the right, at the intersection of Hunter Blvd. and 37th.  For wheelchair access, turn right at this last stop sign, and park as close as possible to the corner of 37th and Hanford Streets.  This is at the NE corner of the church building, and a ramp leads to a brick patio, where there is a side door into the church.

From I-5 take the Columbian Way exit toward Beacon Hill. Continue on the arterial and turn left at the first light at Spokane Street, then up the hill through lights at 15th S. and Beacon. Turn left at the stop sign on 23rd, and then right at the second light on McClellan. Go down the hill and through the light at Rainier Avenue, the intersection with Lowe's. Then follow the instructions above.

Parking is plentiful all around the church.  Metro bus Route 14 from Capitol Hill and downtown terminates right across the street from the church.
