In Search Of a New Home…

For twelve years, we have been a church in transition. Having chosen to move in 2006 from our old building on Findlay Street, we regularly consider the journey and challenges ahead and look forward to the day that we will once again have sacred space to share with others.

In January 2009 we bought property on North Beacon Hill (2421 14th Ave. S).  We have hired Al Terry as our architect and he has worked with a Building Design Committee to create a mixed-use facility on the corner of 14th Ave. S and Bayview.  It won’t look like church has looked before!  Stay tuned.  Not only will we have a peaceful, artful sanctuary, we will offer some affordable housing.

We have gotten the green light from the City of Seattle Design Review Board and are further developing our ideas.  We have met with the Beacon Hill Neighborhood Council to present our project and were warmly and enthusiastically received.

Without major bumps in the road we seek to begin construction in 2012.

We welcome any who want to join us as we meet our new neighbors and express our ministry goals in a fresh and artful way.

Come help us create the future!
